Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Velyntrix Developer Suite (“Velyntrix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) handles information in connection with the website and browser-based developer utilities available at https://velyntrix-devtools.vercel.app (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. Platform Architecture and Core Privacy Position
Velyntrix is intentionally designed as a browser-side processing platform. The core developer tools made available through the Platform are built to process user-submitted material locally within the user’s browser environment rather than through server-side storage or persistent backend retention by Velyntrix. As a result, when you paste, decode, convert, inspect, preview, or otherwise interact with supported tool inputs such as code, JSON, tokens, text, configuration strings, timestamps, URLs, or similar developer material, that content is generally processed within your active browser session and is not stored by Velyntrix on its servers.
This browser-side design is a central part of the Platform’s privacy model. However, account-level information, billing-related information, operational logs, and limited service metadata may still be collected or processed to the extent necessary to authenticate users, administer subscriptions, protect the Platform, investigate abuse, maintain reliability, comply with legal obligations, and operate the business responsibly.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected or processed in connection with your use of the Platform, including account access, subscription management, support communications, security monitoring, and general operation of the website and services. It does not govern the privacy practices of third-party providers that may support parts of the Platform, including payment processors, authentication providers, or infrastructure providers, each of which may apply its own policies and terms.
3. Information We Collect
We collect limited categories of information necessary to operate the Platform in a controlled and secure manner. Depending on how you use the Platform, this may include:
- Identity and account information, such as your email address and basic account metadata associated with your authentication record.
- Authentication-related information, including passwordless magic-link login flow data and session tokens stored locally in your browser or otherwise used to maintain your authenticated session.
- Billing and subscription information, such as payment status, subscription tier, customer identifiers, and transaction-related metadata provided through Stripe or connected billing systems.
- Technical and device information, such as IP address, browser type, operating environment, basic device information, access timestamps, request metadata, and similar diagnostic or security-related logs.
- Communications information, if you contact us directly, including the contents of your inquiry and any information you choose to provide in correspondence.
We do not collect or retain user tool-input content on our servers as part of the intended core design of the developer utilities. In ordinary use, inputs submitted into the tools remain browser-side.
4. Information We Do Not Intend to Store as Tool Content
Velyntrix is not designed to store the substantive content that users paste into the active developer utilities for processing. This includes, by way of example, code snippets, JSON payloads, JWTs, URLs, environment-variable strings, timestamps, Base64 data, API response bodies, and similar user-submitted material entered into the tools.
Because the Platform is structured around browser-side execution, such material is generally processed locally and is not intentionally transmitted to or retained by Velyntrix for storage, profiling, or content analysis. Users remain fully responsible for deciding what data they choose to input into the tools and for assessing whether such data is appropriate to process within their own environment.
4A. No Duty to Monitor or Review Content
Velyntrix does not monitor, review, validate, or analyze user-submitted inputs processed through the Platform’s developer utilities. The Platform operates as a passive technical interface, and Velyntrix assumes no obligation to inspect, supervise, or evaluate any data processed by users within their own browser environment.
5. How We Collect Information
We may collect information through the following channels:
- Directly from you when you sign in, subscribe, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Platform.
- Automatically through platform operations, security monitoring, session management, and basic technical logging.
- From service providers that support authentication, billing, infrastructure, abuse prevention, or related administrative functions.
6. Authentication
Authentication is handled through passwordless magic-link access supported by Supabase or related authentication infrastructure. We do not maintain user passwords because the Platform does not rely on a password-based login model for ordinary access. Session-related data may be used to recognize authenticated users and preserve access state during active or returning sessions, subject to browser behavior and technical requirements.
7. Payments and Subscription Administration
Paid plans, subscription billing, and related payment operations are handled through Stripe. We do not store complete card numbers or full payment instrument details on Velyntrix systems. However, we may receive and retain limited billing-related information necessary to confirm subscription status, administer paid access, detect payment issues, address disputes, comply with accounting requirements, and support basic customer service functions.
Stripe and other third-party billing providers may separately collect, process, and retain personal and financial information in accordance with their own legal obligations, internal policies, and contractual terms.
8. How We Use Information
We use limited collected information only as reasonably necessary to operate and protect the Platform, including to:
- Provide, maintain, and administer access to the Platform.
- Authenticate users and manage account sessions.
- Process subscriptions, confirm billing status, and manage paid access.
- Maintain platform functionality, reliability, and service performance.
- Monitor, detect, prevent, and investigate abuse, misuse, fraud, or security issues.
- Communicate with users regarding operational, billing, legal, or support matters.
- Enforce our terms, policies, and other platform rules.
- Comply with applicable law, lawful requests, court orders, or regulatory obligations.
9. Legal Bases and Justification for Processing
Where applicable, we process information on one or more of the following grounds: to perform or administer the services you request; to pursue legitimate business interests such as security, fraud prevention, service maintenance, and business administration; to comply with legal obligations; and, where required, on the basis of your consent or other lawful grounds recognized under applicable data protection law.
9A. No Reliance on Outputs
The Platform provides technical developer utilities for general use. Velyntrix does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any outputs generated by the Platform. Users are solely responsible for independently verifying and assessing any results before relying on them.
10. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies
The Platform may use essential browser-based storage mechanisms, session handling tools, or similar technical methods that are necessary for core functions such as authentication state, session continuity, security, and reliable platform operation. These mechanisms are used for functional and operational purposes rather than to build advertising profiles or conduct unrelated behavioral tracking.
If Velyntrix later introduces non-essential analytics, advertising technologies, or similar tracking mechanisms beyond what is reasonably necessary for basic operation, this Privacy Policy may be updated and additional notices or consent measures may be implemented where required.
11. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell user personal information. We may disclose limited information only in the following circumstances:
- To service providers that support authentication, billing, hosting, infrastructure, technical operations, or security.
- Where disclosure is reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Velyntrix, its users, or others.
- Where required by law, lawful request, subpoena, court order, or regulatory obligation.
- In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections where applicable.
12. Data Retention
Because Velyntrix is designed so that developer tool inputs are processed locally in the browser, we do not intend to retain such content as stored platform data in the ordinary course of service. Account-level information, billing metadata, communications, security records, and related administrative information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform, enforce our policies, maintain records, resolve disputes, protect security, or comply with legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information, the reason it was collected, and applicable legal requirements.
13. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards intended to protect account-level and operational information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no website, platform, storage environment, communications channel, or security measure can guarantee absolute security. Use of the Platform therefore remains at your own risk, and you should exercise independent caution when deciding what information to use, enter, or process.
14. International Use and Cross-Border Processing
Velyntrix is available to users in multiple jurisdictions. Depending on how the Platform is operated and which service providers are used, account-related and administrative information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by third-party providers operating across international infrastructure. By using the Platform, you understand that such cross-border processing may occur to the extent necessary for platform operation, billing, authentication, support, and compliance.
15. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or limitation of certain personal information we hold about you, as well as the right to object to certain processing or request data portability where legally applicable. Because Velyntrix does not intend to store developer tool-input content on its servers in the ordinary course of operation, such rights generally apply only to account-level, billing-related, support, and operational information actually held by or for Velyntrix.
You may also request account deletion by contacting us. We may retain certain information where necessary to comply with law, enforce our rights, complete outstanding obligations, maintain security records, or resolve disputes.
16. Children
The Platform is not directed specifically to children. While Velyntrix does not impose a general age gate at this time, users are expected to use the Platform only where they have the legal capacity to do so under applicable law in their jurisdiction. If we become aware that personal information has been collected in a manner that violates applicable law, we may take appropriate corrective action.
17. Policy Changes
We may revise or update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Platform, legal requirements, operational practices, or business needs. The updated version will become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Platform after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acknowledgment of the revised policy.
